Since the launch of the original bumper stand in 2006, stop stands have become increasingly popular. They used to be seen as idiosyncratic training tools to help promote single-spout level tamping or bottomless gantry filters, but now they are increasingly accepted for full time use in cafes and bars around the world. Our new Tamping Stand was designed by Paul Pratt to be as completely different as anything on the market. Paul also designed the Bumper stop that changed the way people all over the world stopped. This standard is made of solid 304 stainless steel, and is 50% heavier than the previous Cafelat Pamping Stand. The weight is about 600 g and the top and bottom are provided with durable rubber pads. You can use it with a sprayed or naked gantry filter to keep your work surface clean and scratch-free. It also keeps the spouts free of coffee grounds so that they do not end up in the cup. The exterior has been professionally finished by us with a beautiful mirror finish. Make sure that the only thing that touches your coffee after leaving the portal filter are the spouts!
